Did you know that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nielsen.com\/us\/en\/reports\/2012\/global-trust-in-advertising-and-brand-messages.html\">92% trust recommendations made by friends and family more so than that of other forms of media<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/cms.peatix.com\/images\/blog\/Sell_Out_Social_Media_Advocacy.png\" alt=\"Social Media Advocacy\" height=\"563\" width=\"526\"  \/><\/p>\n<p><center><em><font size = 1>Aptly put by an attendee at <a href=\"http:\/\/pwib13.peatix.com\">Powering Women in Business<\/a>, a sold-out event on Peatix<\/font><\/em><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Same goes for event publicity! So if you haven\u2019t already, start working on publicising your event through Facebook and Twitter!<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/p>\n<p><u>Engage on Facebook<\/u><\/p>\n<p><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>1. Create a Facebook event to kick things off!<\/strong> This can be done with extreme ease through the &#8220;Promote&#8221; tab in the Peatix dashboard, and by ease, we mean in ONE CLICK. You read us right, it\u2019s that simple. What more, Facebook events include a \u201cget ticket\u201d link, directing traffic straight to your ticketing page.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/cms.peatix.com\/images\/blog\/Peatix_Deck_Facebook_Event_1-click.png\" alt=\"Facebook event in 1 click\" height=\"314\" width=\"328\"  \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. There is no magic solution as to how often, when, or which user you should Tweet to but there is a bout of tools to give you a leg up on where to begin.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/followerwonk.com\">Followerwonk<\/a> \u2013 Determine when users are most active and likely to see your Tweet.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/hootsuite.com\">Hootsuite<\/a> \u2013 Schedule Tweets so you need not be at your desk 24\/7.
