Richard Korff is the co-organiser of CreativeMornings Singapore<\/a>, a monthly breakfast lecture series for creative types (including entrepreneurs, developers & crafters).<\/p>\n

The best part about organising events in Singapore is<\/strong> that there are so many energetic and enthusiastic people willing to help out. Throughout the years I have met a lot of great people and I am amazed at the amount of time people are investing in their events, without any financial gain<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The thorn in our flesh when organising events is<\/strong> finding great free\/sponsored venues<\/em> but we nip it in the bud by<\/strong> building relationships with venue owners, and ensuring there is a win for them as well.  We are looking at signing an agreement with one long term venue partner which would allow us to focus more on speakers and content<\/em><\/p>\n

Giving opportunities to local talents to show their craft\/ideas\/thoughts to the rest of the world<\/em> is #HomeGrownSG to me!<\/strong><\/p>\n
