It could help translate vibes that were previously restricted by limited real estate, whether through text or images and provide a glimpse of what your event truly has to offer. In a recent study conducted by <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.hubspot.com\/marketing\/state-of-video-marketing-new-data\">Hubspot<\/a>, it was reported that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>81%<\/strong> of businesses use video as a marketing tool &#8212; up from 63%, the number reported in 2017<\/li>\n<li><strong>97%\u00a0<\/strong>of marketers say video has helped increase user understanding of their product or service<\/li>\n<li><strong>80%\u00a0<\/strong>of marketers say video has increased dwell time on their website<\/li>\n<li><strong>81%\u00a0<\/strong>of people have been convinced to buy a product or service by watching a brand&#8217;s video<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<strong>72%\u00a0<\/strong>of people would rather use video to learn about a product or service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These statistics are further substantiated with user behaviour findings that report approx. &#8220;<strong>one-third of online activity is spent watching\u00a0video<\/strong>&#8221; with &#8220;<strong>over half of all video content viewed on mobile<\/strong>&#8220;. (Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wordstream.com\/blog\/ws\/2017\/03\/08\/video-marketing-statistics\">Wordstream<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><strong>How it works:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Once a video is uploaded in the cover image area, users will see a playback button on the event list screen and event detail screen on Peatix&#8217;s iOS application.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_3258\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3258\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-3258 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/eventblog.peatix.com\/organizer\/wp-content\/uploads\/vidblog.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-3258\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Video Playback on Peatix iOS app<\/p><\/div>\n<p>To start watching, users just need to tap on the &#8220;play&#8221; button and once\u00a0playback ends, they will be returned to the event detail screen.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">Getting started:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Currently, all upload requests can only be submitted via email to the Peatix team and is only available to the Peatix iOS app (Don&#8217;t get us wrong, we love our Android users too and rest assured we&#8217;re working on it!). To get started, simply submit your request <a href=\"https:\/\/peatix.com\/contact\">here<\/a>\u00a0&amp; provide us with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your name<\/li>\n<li>The email address associated with your Peatix organiser account<\/li>\n<li>Your Peatix event page URL<\/li>\n<li>The YouTube URL of the video to be uploaded (Please kindly make sure you have the video up on YouTube and note that that URL submitted has to be in full, rather than a shortened link)<\/li>\n<li>Please also ensure that videos that do not infringe intellectual property rights such as copyright, trademark right etc&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>New to Peatix and can&#8217;t wait to start building your community with events?
