{"id":3722,"date":"2019-01-31T07:20:33","date_gmt":"2019-01-31T07:20:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eventblog.peatix.com\/organizer\/?p=3722"},"modified":"2020-07-23T03:56:41","modified_gmt":"2020-07-23T03:56:41","slug":"peatix-roles-out-a-new-feature-for-collaborators","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eventblog.peatix.com\/organizer\/peatix-roles-out-a-new-feature-for-collaborators\/","title":{"rendered":"Peatix Rol(e)s out a new feature for collaborators"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>You can now work across teams, without sharing your account password, thanks to Peatix\u2019s new Roles feature. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With Roles, you can add and remove collaborators from a group and events without having to give away confidential login information, ensuring that only those authorised will have access. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to manage an event with multiple users, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/help.peatix.com\/customer\/en\/portal\/articles\/2956589\">add them as a Co-Organizer <\/a> &nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once listed as a Co-organizer, the user is granted limited access by the organizer to the specific group and its events. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Co-organiser will be able to edit the group and event pages, access sales and attendee information, and manage ticket sales. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>Groups<\/strong>, a co-organizer can <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Edit the group page<\/li><li>Access the follower list (check account nickname and full names of the followers)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In Events (within the group), <\/strong>a co-organizer can<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Create and edit new event pages<\/li><li>Edit, publish and cancel existing event pages<\/li><li>Purchase Boost services to promote the event (Japan &amp; Singapore only)<\/li><li>Access the attendee page and download the attendee list (including form data), of both new and past events.<\/li><li>Manage sales<\/li><li>Name search check-in using a computer<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information on how to add\/remove and what a co-organise can\/cannot do, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/help.peatix.com\/customer\/en\/portal\/articles\/2962282\">Help Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to add a co-organizers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can add a maximum of TWO (2) users as co-organizers, by following these steps: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inform the user(s) who you want to add as co-organizer(s) to follow the group.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"627\" src=\"https:\/\/eventblog.peatix.com\/organizer\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Step-1_roles-1024x627.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3728\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eventblog.peatix.com\/organizer\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Step-1_roles-1024x627.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/eventblog.peatix.com\/organizer\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Step-1_roles-300x184.jpg 300w, https:\/\/eventblog.peatix.com\/organizer\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Step-1_roles-768x470.jpg 768w, https:\/\/eventblog.peatix.com\/organizer\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Step-1_roles-650x398.jpg 650w, https:\/\/eventblog.peatix.com\/organizer\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Step-1_roles-440x269.jpg 440w, https:\/\/eventblog.peatix.com\/organizer\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Step-1_roles.jpg 1060w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Share your group URL with the people you want to add as co-organizer. They can become followers of the group by clicking the Follow button on the event page.
