Say hel-low to reduced prices because Peatix is lowering our ticketing fee for paid events in Singapore and Malaysia with effect from 23 Oct 2019*.

Introducing our new flat fee of 5%, designed to help event organizers achieve more, with less. There will be no further add-ons, hidden credit card processing charges or complex pricing structures and save up to 70%** on your ticketing fee.

What’s the catch, you may ask? 

As with all businesses, we have been re-evaluating some business priorities and in that process, we found ourselves zero-ing in on the fundamentals. “Who does the business serve?”, “How can we help solve their problems” are just examples of questions that kept popping up time and time again and that led us to look at some numbers while studying the profiles of our organizers in the region and we found that the bulk of events serviced on Peatix are created by independent creators, with event ticket prices averaging between $10-$20/RM30-RM60

Overtime, it just became astoundingly clear that if we are in the business of empowering independent organizers like yourselves to grow your communities through events, we have to go back to the basics of understanding your struggles and there is no better way than to help you stretch your dollar further by lowering our fee, so you could do more.

You may also notice that we’ve removed our fixed dollar fee of $0.99/ticket and hopefully, this would help eliminate the complexities of calculation so you could better anticipate the potential fees in your mind. For all that we’re taking away, rest assured that you will and can continue to enjoy the full suite of our self-service solutions  and no, we’re not stripping any of your favourite features along with this lowered fee.

Also just for the record, Peatix remains completely free of charge for free events. If you’re not charging, we won’t either.

Our event organizers are in the mission of lowering the barriers in bringing people together and our priority as a business, is none other than to lower those barriers for you.
