Ellen Goel is the organiser of Adult Playground, the world’s first and largest outdoor festival!
With 22 outdoor activities, local music, and food trucks all packed into a day, Siloso Beach will be teeming with a flurry of activity this November.
She’ll be speaking at the seventh edition of Backstage Pass, sharing her tips and insights into how you too can make and save more money in organising your indie event.
We got to know our speakers a little better (nothing beats meeting with them in-person of course!) – here are five facts about Ellen:
1. Aside from organising Adult Playground, my day job’s also in organising unique experiences under 22 Experience.
2. My favourite outdoor activity to do in Singapore is wakeboarding at the Southern Islands
3. Recently, I’ve been trying out outrigger canoeing.
4. I’m organising Adult Playground because I want to show people that there are so many things to do in Singapore!
5. My top tip to making/saving money in organising events is to apply for the Singapore Tourism Board’s Kickstart Fund!
