The year is fast approaching to an end and with Christmas upon us, what better way to wrap up 2017 than with the spirit of giving?
In partnership with the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC), we’re calling for the Peatix community (yes you!) to be a part of Giving Week Festival 2017.
Giving Week Festival includes Giving Week, a national movement that encourages everyone to give back. From 28 November – 5 December, businesses, non-profit organisations and individuals across Singapore are encouraged to come together and make a difference towards building a City of Good.
Organisers on Peatix can too be a part of Giving Week Festival and events organised will be featured on the Giving Week website and across various out of home (OOH) channels.
If this excites you and you’re all charged to seal the year on a good note, simply:
- Organise an activity between 28 November – 5 December and donate a pre-determined portion of the fees to charity.
- Organise an activity that would help spread awareness towards a cause (e.g. elderly, disability, heritage, environment etc…)
To top it off, for every paid ticket sold as part of the Giving Week initiative, Peatix will be pledging 50 cents to charity.
